Harrah’s Gulf Coast Hotel & Casino is right along the water in Biloxi, Mississippi.
This town is known for it’s casinos and this resort is no exception!
While gambling is the main attraction, Harrah’s also has great dining options, rooms with phenomenal views, and offers an all-around unforgettable vacation experience.

Harrah’s Gulf Coast Hotel & Casino Review
JP and I stayed at Harrah’s Gulf Coast several times when we were road tripping between Florida and California.
It was always the perfect stopping point after leaving the Orlando area to head back home or after leaving Houston on our way to Florida.
As Caesar’s Rewards members, we always got a great deal on our rooms and we were even able to get a complimentary upgrade.

Room Types
On our visits, we’ve stayed in a King Room and a Deluxe King Room because those were the ones offered at the complimentary member rates.

There’s honestly not a huge difference between the two rooms.
All the amenities were the same, though the deluxe appeared to have slightly nicer furnishings or at least glossier furnishings that made them look nicer.
The regular King room overlooked the pool area while the Deluxe King had a Gulf view.
That visit in particular was wild because there was a huge storm coming in, but not quite to the level of a tropical storm or hurricane, and we were able to watch it all night long from our floor to ceiling window.
Hotel Pricing
If you’re a Caesar’s Rewards member, I highly recommend booking your stay through your Caesar’s account.
What’s great about Caesar’s is that if you’re traveling with someone that is also a Caesar’s Rewards member, you can combine your accounts when booking for an even better deal.
The only catch is that this person has to be traveling with you and has to be at check-in with you so they know you’re not scamming the system.
With this method, JP and I have never paid for a room at any Harrah’s property we’ve ever stayed at whether it was in Biloxi, Southern California, Arizona, or even Las Vegas.
This also helps you get complimentary upgrades as well.
We always end up just paying the resort fees or taxes, which is usually less than $50 a night.
You don’t have to be big spenders with Caesar’s to get these perks either.
We’re both at the lowest membership level and still take advantage of these perks.
Restaurant Options
To my delight, Harrah’s had a Steak n Shake!
These are hugely popular in Ohio where I grew up and are still in a few places in Florida.
California has a few, but they’re not the same and they are significantly more expensive.
So of course on our first visit here our dinner was Steak n Shake.
My meal of choice is a Frisco Melt with fries and JP always has to finish his meals off with a milkshake.
There is also a Starbucks here which is great for grabbing a coffee on the go if this is just a stop on a road trip for you.
I’m not much of a coffee drinker, but I recommend the Iced Chocolate Almond Milk Shaken Espresso!
Restaurants Nearby
Down the street at the Hard Rock Hotel is a Morton’s Steakhouse which is one of our favorites.
It’s definitely somewhere to go for special occasions because it can be a bit of splurge depending on what you order.
Many times they have prix-fixe menu specials of $45-$65 for 3 course meals, which is the most affordable option.
However, the portions are pretty decent here, so two people could share that amount of food.
On our visit to this location, we started with the complimentary onion bread which is so good.
Then we each had a drink.
I got a glass of one of the more full-bodied red wines.
JP went with his go-to drink, an Old Fashioned, but this one also had a toasted marshmallow.
Before getting to our entree, we also shared a bowl of Lobster Bisque, which is so good here.
Now for the main course!
We love a good Filet Mignon and they have a couple different sized options, I think maybe 6 and 10 ounce or 6 and 8 ounce.
Since we were sharing, we got the larger one with a lobster tail plus a side of lobster mac n cheese, which is really more than a whole meal itself.
Your meal isn’t complete until you’ve had their signature dessert, a MORTON’S LEGENDARY HOT CHOCOLATE CAKE®.
Landry’s Select Club
I highly recommend joining the Landry’s Select Club before dining here or during your visit.
The way it works is that it’s a one time $25 fee to join, but it’s given back to you as a $25 reward immediately after.
Then, every year on your birthday you get another $25 reward and you continue to earn rewards the more you dine at Landry’s restaurants.
These include places like Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, Saltgrass Steakhouse, Chart House, Claim Jumper, Golden Nugget, Joe’s Crab Shack, McCormick & Schmick’s, Rainforest Cafe, Rusty Pelican, and dozens more.
Overall Experience
While the casino here is not very large, overall we really love this resort.
Parking in the garage is super simple and it’s attached to the hotel, so you won’t need to go outside at all.
Check-in, restaurants, and the casino are all centrally located near each other, while all the rooms can be reached by the elevator down the hall.
So you’re never too far from wherever you need to go!
The rooms are really nice with nice views, it’s very affordable, especially for Caesar’s Rewards members, and there’s so much to do nearby.
