Here are some of our favorite hidden gems in Branson, Missouri.
1. Silver Dollar City
Silver Dollar City is known for its immersive 1880s-style setting.
I was so pleasantly surprised by this theme park because in my experience, the parks that aren’t Disney and Universal tend to be cheap and dirty.
This park was pristine and so immersive in each land.
We especially enjoyed the Time Traveler roller coaster, the new Mystic River Falls water ride, and the train.
The Fun House is also a great place to walk through.
There was a good food selection too like the loaded potatoes and the bakery with so many yummy treats you can take home.
2. Shoot For The Stars Mini Golf
Shoot For The Stars Mini Golf is a fun Hollywood themed mini golf course.
Each hole is designed with iconic film sets, famous landmarks, and celebrity caricatures.
At the end of the game you get to find out how famous you become based on how well you can golf!
3. Branson Landing
Branson Landing is a great shopping, dining, and entertainment complex along Lake Taneycomo.
The main attraction is the water and fire show with its choreographed fountains dancing to music and lights.
4. Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen
Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen offers a true taste of Southern hospitality and cuisine.
This restaurant is known for its family-style meals.
I can honestly say I’ve never seen Paula Deen’s shows, but from what I’ve heard, she loves her butter!
When I saw this restaurant I knew we had to go.
It was huge, there were a ton of people, so we knew it was a big tourist spot.
We had things like Catfish, Fried Chicken, Chicken and Dumplings, Creamed Corn, Cheesy Broccoli, Bread, Mac n Cheese, and Mashed Potatoes.
5. Dinner at Pasghetti’s
Pasghetti’s in Branson, Missouri, is a one-of-a-kind dining destination that brings together the love for Italian cuisine and playful creativity.
This family-friendly restaurant delights visitors with its whimsical take on traditional Italian dishes, served in a unique and memorable atmosphere.
Beyond its innovative dishes, Pasghetti’s also features an eccentric interior design.
This includes the world’s largest fork and meatball sculpture at the entrance.
We loved our salad, and breadsticks, and meatballs to start with.
They also had a super yummy Apple Pie Moonshine drink!
To be honest, we didn’t love our pastas.
They were okay, but we’ve definitely had better.
The Pasta Carbonara was kind of just a Penne Alfredo.
JP had the Cajun Chicken & Shrimp Pasta and I think just wasn’t a fan of the amount of Alfredo sauce that was in it.
6. Guy Fieri’s Branson Kitchen + Bar
Guy Fieri’s Branson Kitchen in Branson, Missouri, is a culinary haven for fans of the renowned celebrity chef’s bold flavors and mouthwatering dishes.
This vibrant restaurant showcases Guy Fieri’s signature style, bringing together classic American comfort food with a creative and modern twist.
We love his Trash Can Nachos at the other locations, so we were really looking forward to these.
They are slightly different at each location.
We also got some pasta this time.

Where to Stay in Branson: Suites at Fall Creek
The Suites at Fall Creek is a great resort nestled in a woodsy area of Branson.
Our unit was right along the creek and was nice and quiet.
I highly recommend the one bedroom units here so that you have a full kitchen, dining room, in unit laundry, a separate bedroom, and a screened in balcony.
