Aqua Sol Orlando West Review (2025)
Want to know what it’s like to stay at Aqua Sol?
Aqua Sol was recently re-branded when Hilton Vacation Club bought out Diamond Resorts.
You may be more familiar with it’s former name, “Liki Tiki Village”.
Essentially everything about the resort is still the same, except for the name.
Of course rooms are always being updated as needed, but overall it’s still the same great resort.
We stayed in a recently renovated 2 bedroom that was absolutely beautiful, with a view of the waterpark.
It might just be the nicest room we’ve ever had with this timeshare.

Aqua Sol Review
Honestly, pretty much everything I have to say about this resort is overwhelmingly positive.
Below I’ll go into more detail about the room layout and features, the pricing, and the amenities throughout the resort.
But for now, here are a couple highlights:
I love staying at timeshare resorts because most have in-unit laundry.
When we go on our longer trips, especially our road trips, it’s so convenient to be able to do laundry (for free), so we don’t have to pack as much stuff.
I also love having a full kitchen because we do a lot of work-cations, so it’s convenient to be able to cook something on a stove top or in the oven.
It opens up so many more healthy food options and saves a ton of money.
My Only 2 Complaints
My first complaint is that literally all of the other Hilton resorts are more conveniently located to everything you’d want to do in the area – Disney World, Universal, Sea World, the Convention Center, etc.
It takes about 20-30 minutes to get anywhere at Disney World and it takes about 40 minutes to get to Universal.
It’s just not in an ideal location for theme park vacations.
Additionally, the traffic in this area is annoying.
The street that leads in and out of the resort leads to a small 3 way intersection just before a traffic light that is always backed up.
So to get out, you have to hope someone will be nice and let you in, or you just have to turn right and find a place to u-turn later to get anywhere.
Even Google Maps always shows that it’s backed up because of how poorly this intersection was planned.
Pretty much anywhere you’d want to go requires a left turn at the 3 way intersection or a left turn at the traffic light and it’s difficult to do that here.
So it’s just tedious to stay here if you plan to leave the resort each day and go somewhere.
Now if you plan to just stay at the resort the whole time, then this place is perfect.
Two Bedroom
During our visit here, we stayed in a recently renovated 2 bedroom unit.
My first impression of this room was just being blown away.
Some timeshare resorts are pretty old and are barely kept up to aesthetic standards, especially the cheap ones.
This stay was ridiculously cheap, but it was probably the nicest room I’ve ever stayed in from Diamond Resorts, now owned by Hilton Vacation Club.
Kitchen
When you first walk in to the room, the first thing you see is this massive kitchen.
It’s such a good kitchen when you have a larger group or family staying here.
I wish I had this much counter space at home.
I could cook up some good stuff in a kitchen like this.
Living Room
Next is the open living room and dining room.
The entire common area in this unit is completely open, so the kitchen looks directly out to the view in the image below.
The dining table seats 6 people and is the perfect size for a game night!
I personally used this as my work space during my stay.
Our living room had a view directly looking at the water park that this resort is known for.
There is also a balcony in the back with a table and chairs.
Primary Bedroom
The main bedroom has a king sized bed and it’s own bathroom.
I loved how bright these rooms were and just how neat and clean they were.
Primary Bathroom
The bathroom space is open, meaning there isn’t a door closing it off from the bedroom.
The toilet is on the right and has a door to close it off, but the shower as you can see in the image below, does not have a door closing it off from view.
For most people that would be staying in this room this wouldn’t be a problem since they’re really designed for married couples.
There is a second bathroom in this unit if this layout doesn’t work for you.
Second Bedroom
The second bedroom has 2 full beds.
Some units have 1 queen bed instead, but they’re labelled when you book it, so you’ll get whichever kind you need, assuming it’s available.
Second Bathroom
The second bathroom is next to the second bedroom but not attached, so it also serves like a guest bathroom.
This bathroom is the only one with a bathtub.
Pricing
This 2 bedroom unit typically goes for about $200 a night on a typical night.
The base rate is usually about $155-$185, but once taxes and fees are added it’s really about $200.
There are also 1 bedroom and 3 bedroom options here as well.
One bedrooms are about $105-$125 as a base rate, and averaging out at about $150 a night once taxes and fees are added.
Three bedrooms are about $215-$250 per night as a base rate, but end up costing just under $275 a night with taxes and fees.
For the Orlando area, these are amazing prices.
Yes it’s not as close as the other resorts, but this is a really nice resort with it’s own water park and tons of included amenities.
The typical value resort at Disney World, in a standard studio hotel room is $175-$250 a night now for much of the year.
For that same price you can get this beautiful 2 bedroom unit.
Using Timeshare Points For Your Stay
For those that are timeshare owners, here’s the breakdown of the points we used for this stay.
We actually purchased our timeshare through Diamond Resorts back in 2020, before Hilton bought them out, so our point system is still the old Diamond system.
For some background, we have 7500 points a year, which they tell us is good for 7-10 nights a year, but we’re averaging 25 nights a year with these points.
The average price per year for our timeshare is $3,900, but once we factor in the freebies they give us (like gift cards, attraction tickets, experiences, etc) it’s more like $2,900 a year.
So for this stay, we stayed for 2 week nights in May for 500 points for 2 nights.
The price breakdown of this is $261 for the total stay, or $130 per night.
If we factor in the freebies we’ve been given, it actually comes down to being as cheap as $198 for the total stay, or $99 per night.
This resort is almost always discounted throughout the entire year.
It’s one where you can consistently get the most bang for your buck, which adds even more to it’s appeal.
Resort Amenities
This resort is the most resort style timeshare I think we’ve ever stayed in.
There are so many extra amenities that are either included with your room rate or have a small upcharge.
Pool
The pool is the main thing this resort is known for.
They have their own mini water park with fountains, slides, and more.
It’s usually pretty full, so you have to go earlier in the day to get chairs.
Both times I went down to the pool with my sister we couldn’t find any open spots, so we went around and checked out the other amenities instead.
There is seating by the bar though!
There’s a small bridge on the edge of the water park that is labeled as a “selfie spot” because it gives a great view of the water park.
This resort has several good photo op spots.
Bar
The pool bar has food and drinks.
There’s nothing mind-blowingly amazing here, but it’s all still good.
My sister and I shared a burger and fries, which was decently priced.
We also got piña coladas because it was just ridiculously hot that day and it’s so refreshing.
Mini Golf
Aqua Sol also has a free mini golf course!
It’s not fancy by any means, but it’s nice that they offer a free activity like this.
It’s just a 9 hole course instead of a full 18 hole course.
Bike Rentals
You can also rent surrey bikes to ride around the resort.
It was just too hot for us to exert that kind of energy that day, but we’ve done these before at Disney’s Boardwalk resort and love them.
Overall Experience
Overall, this is the best resort stay we’ve had at a Hilton timeshare resort.
This really feels like a resort vacation.
I wouldn’t spend my whole vacation at this resort just because it’s location is much further away than all the others, but 2-3 nights during your vacation when you want to enjoy more leisurely days, this resort is perfect for.

Conclusion: Aqua Sol Review
Aqua Sol is a must-visit Hilton timeshare resort in Orlando.
It was the nicest place we’ve stayed with them so far, it has the best resort amenities, and really just feels like a tropical retreat.
The location isn’t perfect, but you should check out this resort at least once.
