Want to know what it’s like to stay at WorldMark Indio?
WorldMark Indio is a Wyndham timeshare property on the outskirts of the Greater Palm Springs area.
This one in particular felt more like a resort than any of the other WorldMark or Club Wyndham timeshares we’ve been to.
It’s standout feature is definitely the lazy river!
Before the pool opens each morning, they offer “reverse walking” through the lazy river where you walk against the current.
The views around the resort are also great to wake up to each morning.

WorldMark Indio Review
WorldMark Indio is a great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Palm Springs.
It’s set pretty far back away from the main road, but there is a golf course you’ll pass as you’re driving into the resort.
The rooms are kept up very nicely and the pool is the perfect place to spend the day lounging around.
Every room has a full-kitchen and in-unit laundry, so you’ll never need to leave!
Room Types
While we’ve only personally stayed in a one bedroom here, we also got to tour their 4 bedroom presidential suite, so we’ll share about both here.
One Bedroom
When we stayed at WorldMark Indio we stayed in a one bedroom.
The bedroom itself isn’t huge, but the living area really makes up for it.
Not pictured below is also a tv in the bedroom.
The bathroom is spacious and has a somewhat odd layout, but it’s functional.
Though I wish the tub was nicer since there is obviously space for it.
Some nice features of this room include the full kitchen and island, which offers lots of space for cooking.
Not included in the photo is just to the right is a full sized refrigerator and freezer.
Additionally, there is a Murphy bed in the living room, so you can sleep up to 4 people in this room.
The dining room table is also a great size, especially as a work space if you’re on a work-cation.
You can also see in the background there is a couch and chair that offers seating for 4 people.
4 Bedroom Presidential Suite
While we were there we also toured the 4 bedroom presidential suite!

There are 2 rooms that are considered primary bedrooms since they both have king beds and their own ensuite bathrooms.
They are practically mirrors of each other, just like 3rd and 4th bedrooms mirror each other.
Both of these primary rooms also have a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom.
There is a separate shower just out of frame to the left and both of these bathrooms are nearly identical.
Then there are 2 bedrooms that have 2 twin beds and they share a bathroom in-between them.
While the bathroom that these rooms share isn’t as spacious as the primary rooms, they’re still functional.
The 4th bedroom essentially mirrors the 3rd bedroom and sits just on the other side of the bathroom.
With this set up, you can sleep 8 people in this suite, though if you add in the couch in the living room you could get a 9th person.
Or if you have small kids that like to share a bed with you you could get 1-2 more people in this room comfortably.
The dining room seats 8 people, but there is also a counter top in the kitchen that seats 4 people.
The living room really brings the whole suite together with various seating options, a mounted tv, and a cozy fireplace.
You can also see in the background that the balcony has another dining table if you want to eat outside.
There is also balcony access from some of the bedrooms.
Lastly, the kitchen here is just incredible.
It has really nice, updated appliances, tons of space, and a breakfast bar.
Room Pricing
When we stayed here we were using a 2 year Club Wyndham sampler package, which is essentially a timeshare trial.
For a 3 night stay in a one bedroom in May, we used 41,400 points.
With what we paid for the sampler package, this came out to a total of $364.73 for the total stay, or $121.58 each night.
While this isn’t the cheapest room ever, we had a one bedroom with a full kitchen and in-unit laundry, so we definitely got our money’s worth out of our stay.
Resort Amenities
Like I’ve mentioned earlier, the main attraction here is the pool which has a lazy river.
Inner tubes are provided at the lazy river and I believe you have to have a tube to get in the river as they don’t let people swim around in it.
However, if you go before the pool opens, they offer 30-60 minutes of time where you can walk through the lazy river in the reverse direction of the current.
It’s great exercise and you’ll mostly find the older crowd doing this, but it’s available to anybody.
Since it gets very hot out in Indio, especially during the Summer, there are cooling rugs laid out all over so you don’t burn your feet on the concrete as you’re going between the lazy river, the pool, and your lounge chair.
Overall Experience
Overall, this is a great vacation destination.
As far as timeshares go, this is one of our favorite places to stay.
The rooms and the resort as a whole are kept up very well.
The views are great and we love going out to the Palm Springs area as much as we can.
It’s also near Joshua Tree National Park, so it makes for a great home base if you want to visit there too.
Conclusion: WorldMark Indio Review
WorldMark Indio is one of Wyndham’s best timeshare properties.
It’s affordable, spacious, has all the in-room and resort amenities you could want, and it’s in the beautiful area of Palm Springs.
If you’re looking for other resorts in the Palm Springs area, we used to love staying at Marquis Villas Resort right in downtown.
They are currently closed though, so the next best place is definitely Palm Canyon Resort.
