Club Wyndham National Harbor Review (2025)
Want to know what it’s like to stay at Club Wyndham National Harbor?
For the Washington DC portion of our Ultimate US Road Trip, we had an amazing opportunity to stay at Club Wyndham National Harbor.
We had booked a 1 Bedroom unit, but we were surprisingly upgraded to a 2 Bedroom unit upon arrival!
It was just the 2 of us, so we never used the 2nd bedroom, but it was nice to see what the unit was like.
You can see a full walk-through of our room in this video on our YouTube Channel.

It has a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a dining area, living room, and balcony.
My favorite part is definitely the jacuzzi!
Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to be a timeshare owner to stay here.
You can book directly or through your preferred 3rd party platform.

Club Wyndham National Harbor Review
Club Wyndham properties are usually really nice and this property was no exception!
It looked brand new inside and out.
The hallways were nice and bright and wide.
Our unit had no issues and nothing was worn out.
Also I always love a room with a jacuzzi!
National Harbor is a small area outside of DC that is a shopping and dining district.
It has a bunch of apartments/condos surrounding it as well as the Club Wyndham timeshare property.
They have partnered together to offer various discounts at some of the stores and restaurants, which was a great perk!
We were able to walk across the street for a couple of meals, meet up with a sorority sister that lives in the area, and only spend about 15 minutes driving into town for sightseeing.
With the two bedroom unit in particular, the kitchen table was more so a breakfast nook that was quite large.
This made for a great work space for us while we were staying here.
The balcony was also nice for seeing the nightlife around National Harbor.
Cons Of Staying At Club Wyndham National Harbor
This was definitely one of our more expensive timeshare stays.
On top of the points we used for the stay, we also had to pay $80 to park in the garage across the street.
We know pretty much every city is like this, so it’s not a diss on this property specifically.
We’re just saying that it is a negative aspect of our time there.
Really the only other negative is that there wasn’t a property right in Washington DC that we could’ve stayed in while using the timeshare.
We would’ve had to pay cash at a hotel for roughly the same cost, but with less amenities.
There are 2 Club Wyndham properties in the DC area, the other one being in Alexandria and both are significantly more expensive than most timeshare properties we stay in and it’s usually hard to find availability.
So I guess what I’m saying is that we would have preferred to stay in the city, but since we were trying to use up our timeshare points that we had already paid for, we had only 2 options.
Only 1 was available and it was much more expensive points wise than what we usually spend at other timeshare properties.
It’s worth the points though.
There’s a reason this place is so expensive and not just because of it’s location.
Parking At Club Wyndham National Harbor
Parking at Club Wyndham National Harbor is located in a parking garage across the street.
You’re able to come and go as much as you please and your parking fee is billed nightly during your stay.
We stayed for 4 nights and paid $80 for parking for our visit, however, I think this was discounted in exchange for attending a timeshare presentation.
According to their website, parking in the garage is $24 per day, but can be subject to change without notice.
There is parking available for RVs and trailers as well.
Services At Club Wyndham National Harbor
Club Wyndham National Harbor completed an extensive renovation in May 2023.

All other guests have access to a shared laundry facility on each floor.
Bellhops are available when you arrive to help with unloading your car and deliver your belongings to your room.
Grocery delivery is also available through the resort, but you have to contact them directly to set it up.
Internet is free for up to 4 devices during your stay, but you can also purchase enhanced wifi for streaming for $9.95 per day.
If you’re staying longer, you can also pay for upgraded wifi for $49.95 for 6-10 days or $59.95 for 11-30 days.

Fun Things To Do When You’re Staying In National Harbor
When we stayed here, we were on an epic 52 day road trip around the US.
During this portion of our trip, we spent 4 days exploring the Washington DC area from the National Mall to some more lesser known areas.
We highly recommend checking out these fun things to do in Washington DC.
Conclusion: Club Wyndham National Harbor Review
Overall, this property is really amazing, but definitely outside of our preferred price range.
But at least we found a place semi last minute that could accommodate us in roughly the same area we wanted to visit!
That’s what was most important to us.
I recommend checking out this property if you enjoy the extra amenities that timeshare units provide.
Since JP was working during the whole trip, the full kitchen was very helpful to be able to cook meals during the day or at least heat up leftovers.
Having the kitchens throughout our road trip saved us a lot of money!
But if you’re looking to stay in the middle of town, check out Canopy by Hilton Washington DC Embassy Row.
