The price starts at $149.95 and it’s less for children.
Children under 3 are free, however, a meal is not included for them, so they can share off of your plate or you can pay for a child’s ticket and they can have their own meal.
Two drinks from the boat’s full-service bar are included with dinner for those that are 21 years old and older, then after that it is $5 per drink.

The Pride of Maui dinner cruise departs from Ma’alaea Harbor as well and goes out toward the Molokini Crater.
The Pride of Maui is the only dinner cruise on this list that is also a luau!
So if you’re not able to get into any other luaus or want to kill two birds with one stone with a cruise and a luau, then this sunset dinner cruise is for you.
Since this is a buffet and luau cruise, it’s a little pricier than the first one.
For adults, tickets start at $158 and for children, tickets are cheaper, while infants are free.

This sunset dinner cruise includes 2 alcoholic beverages and a 3 course dinner accompanied by live music while cruising around the Lahaina coastline.
Tickets start at $139.95 for adults ages 13+, and they’re a little cheaper for ages 7-12, and free for children up to 3 years old.
Just like with the first cruise, meals aren’t provided for those on the free tickets, so your children under 3 can share off of your plate or you can purchase them a children’s ticket so they can have their own meal.
The first course of dinner includes a Caesar salad with homemade buttery croutons, freshly grated parmesan cheese, and warm breadsticks.

Our Maui Sunset Dinner Cruise Experience
Our sunset dinner cruise was arranged by our resort, so I don’t know a whole lot about how to book it or what package it was, but I know the company was Trilogy Cruises and we did the Captain’s Sunset Dinner Sail.

Dinner consisted of several courses and unlimited drinks.
We each only had 1 drink though since that was plenty for us.
I think we had a Mai Tai and a Mojito.
For our appetizers (pupus), we had Ala’e Sea Salt Breadsticks with Lilikoi Butter, Smoked Salmon on Crispy Pita with Fresh Dill, Sliced Cucumber Cup topped with Maui Onion Cream Cheese, and Tataki-Style Beef Tenderloin Crostini.
For our salad, we had the Trilogy Caesar Salad, which consisted of Romaine Lettuce tossed with Blue Cheese Vinaigrette.
As our main entree, we had the Pan Seared Top Sirloin Steak with Rosemary & Garlic Crust, Fresh Island Fish Pank-Crusted with Lemon Caper Butter, Hapa-Mashed Potatoes, and Steamed Vegetables.
For dessert, we had the Dessert Trio, which consisted of Lilikoi Cheesecake, Fresh Island Fruit, and Dark Chocolate Truffle.
After dinner, staff on the cruise took sunset photos for everyone, which was so nice so that we could have a photo together.
But my hair was blowing all over the place, so we didn’t get any good photos, so we just tried a selfie instead.
By the time we got back to the harbor it was completely dark outside.
It was in early February, so depending on the time of year you go, it may be a little different.
Where To Stay On Maui
I highly recommend staying at Ka’anapali Beach Club when you’re visiting Maui.
This resort is owned by Hilton Vacation Club, but contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to be a timeshare owner to stay here.
You can book your stay by booking directly through Hilton or your preferred 3rd party booking platform.
I recommend this resort specifically because for the same price as a standard hotel room, you’ll get a full kitchen, balcony with ocean views, a jacuzzi tub, separate bedroom and living spaces, and more.
