We recently received complimentary tickets for a guided tour of the The Neon Museum Las Vegas, followed by a viewing of the night time show, Brilliant.
We loved visiting the Neon Museum because it was one of the few family friendly activities you can do in Las Vegas.
People of all ages will enjoy this place.
We ended up taking hundreds of pictures and videos, so we decided to narrow it down and show you some of our favorite parts of our experience.

When you enter the Neon Museum, you’ll be led on a guided tour. It is set up in a way that all of the signs are divided by different sections.
Such as signs from Downtown (Fremont Street), signs from The Strip, and so on.
Some of the signs are still in working condition, some of them aren’t.
But every one of them holds historical significance to the city of Las Vegas.
They are from every era of the city’s existence and luckily on the guided tour you will get to find out the history and significance of each sign and of Las Vegas as a whole.
The Boneyard
The Boneyard is the main attraction of The Neon Museum Las Vegas. Here you’ll see all the signs laid out and you’ll learn about the history of the most iconic ones.
If you’re visiting during the day, it’s a self guided experience. If you’re visiting during the night time, you’ll be taken on a guided tour.
You’ll want to wear closed-toe shoes while you’re here!

Brilliant! Jackpot 45 Minute Experience
After the guided tour, we were treated to the Neon Museum’s night time show, Brilliant.
We had no idea what to expect but it was awesome!
You go to a separate area where you are surrounded by more neon signs.
The show is projected onto various signs to make them look lit up and animated.
Brilliant is a tribute to all of the iconic famous performers and the history and vibe of Vegas.
When you visit the Neon Museum, I highly recommend visiting in the evening so you can see this show after your tour.
Update: When we visited, the show Brilliant was airing. It has since been upgraded to Brilliant! Jackpot, which is an even better show!
Is The Neon Museum Worth Visiting During The Day?
I know I just said I recommend visiting in the evening so you can see the nighttime show, Brilliant.
However, if the only time you have available to visit The Neon Museum Las Vegas is during the day, then it is definitely worth a visit still.
Think about the Las Vegas skyline during the day. It’s still amazing to see whether the neon signs are lit up or not. The Neon Museum Las Vegas is the same way!

November 1st – February 28th 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
March 1st – April 30th 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm
May 1st – August 31st 4:00 pm – 12:00 am
How Much Does It Cost To Get Into The Neon Museum In Las Vegas?
Due to the popularity of The Neon Museum Las Vegas, you’ll want to purchase your tickets in advance.
If you’re a museum member, you can enjoy free admission.
Additionally, children ages 6 and under always enjoy free admission.

How Long Does It Take To Go Through The Neon Museum?
Day time visits to the Boneyard allow you to visit The Neon Museum Las Vegas at your own pace, but expend to spend about an hour here.
Night time visits to the Boneyard include a 45 minute guided tour of The Boneyard.
If you’re staying for Brilliant! Jackpot, that is also a 45 minute experience.

Bally’s is consistently one of the cheapest hotels you can stay in on the Las Vegas Strip. It’s centrally located on The Strip too, which seems even more incredible that it’s affordable.
I recommend signing up for the free Caesar’s Rewards program to get discounted and complimentary stays at this hotel.
Generally with the Caesar’s Rewards discount, at a minimum you’ll get an extra 10% off, but usually more unless it’s a holiday.

✅ Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
The Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is right next door to Bally’s. So again it is very centrally located on The Strip.
It is also part of the Caesar’s Rewards program, so I highly recommend joining that to save some money on your next stay.
It’s not always the cheapest place on The Strip, but pretty regularly throughout the year you can get a room for less than $100 a night, including the resort fee.
Everything about this resort really makes you feel like you’re in Paris, so it’s luxury on a budget.

✅ Polo Towers by Diamond Resorts
Polo Towers is a timeshare resort right on The Strip. It is owned by Diamond Resorts, which was recently bought out by Hilton Grand Vacation Club.
Polo Towers is closer toward the south end of the Strip, near where Excalibur and New York New York are located.
So it’s still part of the action of the Las Vegas Strip, it’s just not right in the middle like the other two. But here’s the perk – Polo Towers has kitchens!
Most Las Vegas hotels don’t even have refrigerators anymore, unless they are fully stocked with upcharged alcohol.
At Polo Towers, you can bring all the food and drinks you want that can fit in a full sized fridge.
That is the biggest draw for us because Vegas is HOT in the Summer and I drink an absurd amount of water and I prefer it to be cold.

This is another luxury resort, but on the far south end of the Strip, attached to Mandalay Bay.
I most enjoyed the soaking tub with a water fountain faucet and the tv in the bathroom. Our room also had a separate half bath out in the living room.
